Many Christians have heard the story of Joseph at some point before. Whether it's from Sunday School or the popular motion film, Joseph: King of Dreams.
I wonder how many Christians have truly taken time to analyze Joseph's life? How does this story apply to me? It is after all written in the Bible, which means that God placed it there for a purpose to give us some sort of guidance.
Many of us can gather that Joseph's story was a story of God ordained steps that led him from a ditch to a palace. But what about human complexities that Joseph must have experienced in between?
After reading this story, I was both moved and inspired to reevaluate my own life and the lessons taught through Joseph's strengths, weaknesses and realities.
